Senior Data Integration Developer – 6-Month Contract with Possibility of Extension

Key Skills & Experience
- Design and implement ETL/ELT workflows using Talend Data Integration tools
- Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and convert them into technical deliverables
- Carry out data mapping and transformations from various source systems into data warehouses or other target environments
- Support and improve existing Talend jobs, focusing on reliability, scalability, and performance
- Work with DBAs and developers on data modelling tasks and query optimisation
- Create documentation for solutions, data pipelines, and job logic based on internal guidelines
- Diagnose and fix Talend-related problems, including data integrity and quality issues
- Assist with CI/CD practices and manage version control for Talend projects
- Participate in the development and support of the University’s data quality and governance practices
