About The Role

As a Bookkeeper in our CFO advisory team, you will play a key role in supporting our clients by managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This is an exciting opportunity to work across various industries, with plenty of room for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Prepare and process payroll, including superannuation and leave entitlements.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare BAS, IAS, and GST reports.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and month-end processes.
  • Collaborate with the CFO advisory team on budgeting and cash flow forecasting.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple clients.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3-4 years of bookkeeping experience in a professional environment (experience in an accounting practice is highly regarded).
  • Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks.
  • Strong understanding of GST, BAS, and payroll compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
  • Cert IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting or relevant qualifications (preferred but not essential).
