About Us – Have a Heart for Change!

Did you know heart disease is the number one killer of Australians? Every day, 50 Australians lose their lives to heart disease. As Australia's leading heart health charity, we're on a mission to change this – and we need passionate people like you to help make a difference!

Skip into something meaningful.

We're looking for someone energetic, proactive and community-minded to help us bring one of Australia's most loved school fundraising programs to life.

This is a full-time role based in Perth with occasional interstate travel, heaps of flexibility, and a chance to be part of a team that genuinely cares about impact and each other.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be the face of Jump Rope for Heart in schools across WA, SA (and sometimes beyond), inspiring teachers and students to get involved, get active, and get fundraising. Your days will include:

  • Visiting primary schools to run workshops, build buzz, and support the program
  • Coaching teachers to lead the charge - boosting participation, fundraising and of course, skipping!
  • Helping schools hit their goals and have a great time doing it
  • Juggling a mix of outreach, admin, and relationship building
  • Working closely with a fun, high-energy team who've got your back
  • Keeping the CRM up to date and staying across what schools and families need
  • Representing the Heart Foundation and encouraging healthier, more active lives for kids

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who loves working with people, especially young ones, and who brings energy, initiative and a bit of magic to everything they do. You'll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Experience in fundraising, events, sales, or working in schools
  • Confidence presenting and engaging with groups (especially children under 12)
  • A background in leading or coaching physical activity is a big plus
  • Excellent communication, time management and digital skills
  • A knack for building strong relationships and keeping things organised
  • A current driver's licence and willingness to travel interstate
  • A valid Working with Children Check (or ability to get one)
  • Bonus points if you've got a First Aid Cert!
