Our opportunity


As a Graduate of Architecture, you'll play a key role in a small, tight-knit team working across a high volume of fast-paced, varied projects. You'll support the Project Architects in front-end design, feasibility studies, planning for apartment developments across Australia (VIC, NSW, QLD, WA), with some exposure to master planned communities and some mixed-use developments.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Provide assistance to the Design team as directed by Project Lead
  • Assist with preparation of diagrams and drawings with a high graphic quality
  • Support design vision and strategies through preparing drawings, visualisations and sourcing imagery
  • Assist in ensuring that the design complies with Mirvac standards
  • Assist in proper archiving of all relevant project data on completion.
  • Liaise with consultants as directed.
  • Participate in sales and settlement events in order to appreciate the viewpoint of the end user (customer).
  • Keep up to date with best practice design in conjunction with Mirvac objectives.
  • Work co-operatively with the design team.
  • Work with other Mirvac departments to achieve objectives.
  • Keep up to date with best practice sustainable design initiatives in alignment with project objectives.
  • Participate in Innovation and Sustainability objectives.

You'll need an architectural and artistic eye, an analytical mindset, and the discipline to work through projects from concept to approval in a highly collaborative, design-driven environment.


What we're looking for:


  • A degree in Architecture and a minimum of 2 years' experience working in an architectural practice
  • Experience in apartment design and relevant building standards/guides
  • Proficiency in Revit and rendering software such as Enscape (or similar),
  • Proficiency in Adobe software, specifically Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • A strong interest in feasibility studies, urban design, and efficiency-driven architecture
  • Excellent time management and the ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to contribute effectively in a team environment
