Our opportunity

As a Graduate Engineer,you will gain broad exposure to project management, and design and construct systems and associated disciplines, systems and controls. Assume the responsibility of the administration of the site office. Ensure the delivery of the project exceeds the project parameters for HSE , time, cost, customer satisfaction and quality.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Receive instructions and training from the Project Manager, Site Manager, Site Engineer/s, Project Engineer/s, and Senior Project Engineer/s.
  • Be responsible for the office, including filing and housekeeping.
  • Monitor the hire of plant and equipment
  • Check and process all delivery dockets and invoices.
  • Ensure that office drawings are kept up to date and contractors & subcontractors are kept up to date with drawing and documentation issues.
  • Contribute to the collation of monthly reporting.
  • Prepare minutes of Toolbox meetings, HSE Committee meetings and any other meetings for distribution and filing.
  • Assist in the preparation of quality assurance procedures and assume responsibility for monitoring and collation of same.
  • Ensure that all documentation has been reviewed, approved and is available on site before new subcontractors start on site
  • Ensure all HSE checklists are completed in a timely manner and in-line with Mirvac procedures and closed out when required
  • Ensure all Site Noticeboards are kept up to date at all times.

Your point of difference

We're seeking a motivated individual with 0-2 years of experience in a similar role, who brings a strong understanding of civil engineering and landscape delivery fundamentals.

Whether you have recently completed or are in your final year of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career.

Attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to think beyond immediate tasks and consider the project's 'big picture' when making decisions. We value a genuine desire to learn - asking thoughtful questions, conducting independent research, and critically analysing decisions are all part of what will help you succeed here.

You should also have a solid grasp of contract administration and be comfortable reading and interpreting project documentation, including plans and specifications.
