What this opportunity involves:
As the Building Operations Manager, you will oversee the operations of 2 commercial properties within Sydney's inner-city pocket. You will deliver operational excellence through providing superior client service, building occupier engagement, contributing to the growth of JLL and meeting financial targets whilst also enhancing your professional and personal skills.

What this opportunity involves:
As the Building Operations Manager, you will oversee the operations of 2 commercial properties within Sydney's inner-city pocket. You will deliver operational excellence through providing superior client service, building occupier engagement, contributing to the growth of JLL and meeting financial targets whilst also enhancing your professional and personal skills.
Other responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain strong professional stakeholders and regularly communicate with tenant groups
- Actively look for ways and provide recommendations to improve building performance, ensuring a focus on presentation, plant/equipment operation and safety/risk compliance
- Co-ordinate contractors and monitor performance and compliance with contract and essential safety measures
- Assist Property Managers and Owners with preparation of operating and capital budgets for the properties
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to Property Managers and Owners
- Monitor and address faults pertaining to the efficient operation of plant and equipment servicing the sites
- Have a keen focus on environmental sustainability through maintaining records for NABERS certification
- Conduct inspections for reporting and auditing purposes
- Aide in formulating contracts for maintenance and services and the tendering of such services
- Demonstrated knowledge of technical services, especially HVAC, BAS, fire safety and electrical systems
- Property Industry experience, specifically building services/facilities management (Tertiary Qualifications in Facilities or related field is desirable but not mandatory)
- Thorough understanding of compliance and risk management requirements
- Contractor management experience with excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to deal with variety of complex issues concurrently within tight operational deadlines
- Goal oriented with a focus on exceeding operational performance targets
