Description

Join QTC as a Technical Project Manager and you will be part of a PMO team that is passionate about leading and delivering strategic projects. In this 12-month maximum term role, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver impactful organisational and/or technology projects. The role requires a person who is a great team player, comfortable working across multiple projects, creative, driven and a problem solver. You will bring a strong technical acumen, with the ability to manage complex IT infrastructure and workplace technology initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure successful delivery of technical solutions aligned with business goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of workplace and infrastructure technologies for a commercial office fit-out across three levels.
  • Oversee the end to end implementation of work place technologies, including:
    • Network infrastructure and structured cabling
    • Meeting room AV and collaboration tools
    • End User Computing (EUC) devices and peripherals.
    • Smart workplace solutions such as occupancy sensors, desk booking platforms, visitor management systems, smart lockers, and mobile-based digital credentials
    • Physical security systems (CCTV, access control) and digital signage solutions
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including business cases, plans, budgets, schedules, and risk registers.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Monitor and track project performance, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, policies, and best practices.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, resolve issues, and escalate challenges as needed.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment by providing leadership, guidance, and support to project team members including outsourced delivery partners
What You Bring

  • Proven experience in successfully delivering workplace and infrastructure technology projects.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in both agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder engagement and management at all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A strategic, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • The ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant qualifications, including:
    • A tertiary qualification in information technology, business management, or a related discipline.
    • Project management certifications (essential).
    • Postgraduate qualifications in project management or information technology (desirable).
