Supervisor - Telco/Networks

The opportunity

Energy & Utilities have an opportunity available for an experienced Supervisor to join the Telecommunications & Metering team supporting the Telstra Fixed Networks (TFN) contract.

Reporting into the Superintendent you will be based in our Underdale office however this is a field-based role and requires travel to multiple site locations, therefore a Tool of Trade Vehicle will be provided.


What you'll do

• Own the operational and administrative supervision of our contractors, site works and public interface.

• Ensure compliance to the contract in line with the Downer Standard.

• Lead, support and implement Downers Zero Harm strategy and processes across the entire contract.

What we're looking for

We are seeking an individual with a can-do approach and willingness to learn. The successful candidate will preferably have experience in a similar supervision role within the telecommunications or utilities industry.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a high-pressure work environment with constantly changing and competing priorities within tight deadlines.
  
• In depth knowledge of Telstra SORs preferred.
  
• A sound understanding of productivity requirements for network construction.
  
• Strong knowledge of client network (Telstra & NBN) is advantageous.
  
• Knowledge of client WIS and Construction Methodology.
