Position Summary

The F&B Coordinator supports the F&B Division and is responsible for providing assistance. We seek a candidate who can work independently and enjoys teamwork, has a strong grasp of floor operations, exudes a cheerful personality, and is adept at multitasking while handling all facets of F&B, particularly with robust administrative skills.

The Role

  • Be an exemplary role model in inspiriting team members through strong demonstration of the Capella Culture and Service Philosophy.
  • Perform general office duties to support both the DoFB and the F&B Division.
  • Handling all enquires and bookings for guest and VIP clients via email, over the phone and in person.
  • Ensures all correspondence addressed to DOFB are responded to/acted on within established timeframes.
  • Arranges business itineraries and coordinates requirements as instructed.
  • Be the champion of the local culture, heritage sites and trends by keeping up-to-date with the city's happenings, area surrounding the hotel to provide recommendations and directions for the guests.
  • Handling complaints and resolving service 'Glitches', keep a record of all feedbacks under the appropriate system. Ensures that the issues are resolved in a timely manner to guests' satisfaction.
  • Report any issue or damages and breakdowns within working areas and the hotel to ensure a defect-free facilities and service amenities provided.

Talent Profile

  • Having experience in a similar role is definitely a plus!
  • Having strong administrative skills is beneficial.
  • Possessing a keen eye for detail
  • Strong Time and Task Management
  • Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English
  • Proficient computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Word)
  • Experience with In Design, Canva, Micros and SevenRooms
  • Valid working rights in Australia
