The Opportunity
As our Senior Graphic Designer, you’ll support our progressive and authentic firm as we right wrong. Reporting to the General Manager – Brand and Marketing Acquisition, and based out of our Brisbane CBD head office in a hybrid working pattern, you’ll be responsible for developing and delivering graphic design solutions across a variety of internal and external channels. You’ll also be the brand guardian of the Shine Justice group, creating brand-enhancing assets and communications across a variety of print and digital formats.
You’ll design, layout and format our marketing and communications across Shine, executing creative concepts and designs that accurately reflect our brand positioning. You’ll produce collateral, production of collateral, promotions, advertising, building signage, internal collateral, presentations, annual reports, merchandise, and other materials, across all digital assets, including website, web applications, video, advertising, electronic newsletters, banners, social media and other digital media.
You’ll also build strong relationships, so that you can work closely with internal stakeholders, to gain feedback approvals, and provide updates, while creating innovative and successful design solutions.

Here’s how you’ll help us stay ahead of the pack:
- Maintain an advanced knowledge of software used for creating graphic designs and trends within design
- Liaise with stakeholders to gain feedback, approvals, and provide updates on design jobs
- Use a project management tool to receive and manage design briefs
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and work with these stakeholders to create innovative and successful design solutions
- Manage a diverse range of design projects with competing deadlines
- Work closely with the General Manager – Brand and Marketing Acquisition to develop and manage brand guidelines
- Apply a commercial mindset, understanding the bottom-line contribution of successful marketing and design initiatives
- Produce meaningful data visualisations
- Research and consider current design trends across print, digital, UX and social channels
- Consider the values of Shine Justice in creating designed items that support the mission of the brands internally and externally
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to produce engaging responsive HTML5 / CSS3 content
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Flash)
- Experience working with a CMS, preferably WordPress, SiteCore or AEM
- Proven ability to produce jobs from concept through to finished art (digital & print) including organising of production of printed assets with suppliers
- Strong understanding of brand guidelines, including colour, imagery, typography etc
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A pro-active approach and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Speed, accuracy and a clear attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with media and creative agencies to fulfil design briefs
- Tertiary qualifications in graphic design, design, fine arts or similar are highly desirable, but not essential for success.
