We currently have an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Strategy & Business Development Manager to Lead the Lockheed Martin Mission and Fire Control (MFC), Australia and New Zealand business development team to identify, shape, develop and capture business opportunities and deliver programs in the MFC sector.
The primary responsibilities for the Strategy & Business Development Manager include (but are not limited to):
- Provide leadership to implement a comprehensive MFC Australia and New Zealand business development and growth strategy
- Maintain exceptional professional relationships with key stakeholders, internal and external
- Operate as the central Point-of-Contact (PoC) within Australia and New Zealand for Lockheed Martin MFC strategy and business development
- Assist MFC Line’s of Business (LOB’s) in achieving their Long Range Plan (LRP) by winning new business, and follow-on/sustainment business
- Ensure coordination of MFC international efforts with related LM Corporate efforts
- Pursue opportunities to leverage cross LOB and cross LM organisation initiatives to increase the probability of new business success
- Provide non-advocate, independent assessments of MFC Australia and New Zealand opportunities
About you:
You will enjoy mentoring others, creating a positive work environment and seeing your team succeed. With impeccable communication skills and a knack for building lasting relationships, you will be a highly experienced and professional Manager; with a proven track record in successful Program Delivery and Execution within a defence or national security environment.
You will also ideally have the following:
- Strong contemporary knowledge and understanding of MFC related technologies in the defence or national security sectors
- Tertiary qualifications in technical fields or equivalent experience in defence or national security operations
- Proven experience with bid or capture management of a major program and/or in a large company
- Knowledge of the US Government’s Foreign Military Sales (FMS) process
- Extensive level of experience utilising a range of Project Management tools and methodologies
