About The Role
The Risk Metrics & Measurement Services Transformation is a newly established multi-year cloud adoption program that will transform the data, models, calculation and reporting systems that underpin our Stress Testing, Credit Provisions, and Credit Risk Weighted Assets services.
We are seeking a Program Governance & Planning Manager with extensive 'hands on' project delivery experience in large-scale Regulatory Programs in the Banking sector, in addition to having led and established PMOs. In this hands on role, you will work closely with multiple workstreams to govern and drive delivery, ensuring an integrated approach and adoption of best practice project planning and delivery disciplines.
To be successful in the role, you will bring commercial acumen, an ability to think strategically and connect the dots and mastery in schedule planning, and the full suite of project delivery tools. (Jira, Confluence, MS Project)
What will your day look like?
As The Program Delivery & Governance Manager, You Will
Lead program-wide planning activities to establish and manage the integrated program schedule in MS Project, and produce meaningful status reporting
Establish program-level processes to centrally manage and track the teams activities eg facilitate program-level sprint planning, manage program-wide stand ups and Kanban boards.
Use visualization tools (eg VBA, powerpoint) to bring the schedule "to life" creating clarity on priorities and anchoring workstreams around a common understanding of scope, critical path, milestones and inter-dependencies
Play an active role in the identification and mitigation of risks, issues, and dependencies
Coordinate Steerco packs, prepare agendas, capture minutes, and manage actions
Develop the PMO / Delivery playbook, that articulates the programs governance processes, team operating cadence and agile ways of working
Produce the programs deliverables RACI to clearly align delivery roles and responsibilities
Assist the Program Director in documenting funding submissions, managing the yearly funding activities and benefits management
What will you bring?
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Demonstrated project-delivery experience across multi-stream Regulatory programs in Banking, involving cloud data migration, systems implementation and vendor management ($20m+)
Experience establishing program-wide PMO processes and implementing agile ways of working across the team
Mastery in facilitating detailed project planning activities in both Agile (EPICs, features, Stories) and Waterfall (MS Project)
Expert coordination, and forward planning across multiple streams of work to support successful execution.
