About The Role

We have an exciting opportuniy for a Mid-Level Software Engineer, who will contribute to the development of high-quality software solutions within a collaborative Agile team. You will work on scalable platforms, participate in the full software development lifecycle, and help maintain a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

You will be apart of a cross functional squad of engineers, QA's, BA's and Product Manager) performing integration work with external services, personalization and a recommendation engine. This project incompasses Coles pusuit of being a digital first company and maintain these service offerings digital receipts across online and instore.

About You

  • 2-5 years experience in software development, preferably with .NET technologies
  • Experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure)
  • Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Azure DevOps, ArgoCD)
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Understanding of event-driven architecture
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in Agile environments

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver software features within agreed timelines
  • Participate in Agile Scrum practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
  • Participate in peer reviews and uphold testing standards
  • Contribute to a positive and high-performing team culture
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful delivery
