Position Description: The key functions of the Quality Test Engineer are to conduct mobile, web and API tests of software product(s), develop automated test scripts for web and API tests and document test cases, results. The goal of this role is to increase the quality of the products by reducing the number of bugs in the software and identifying as many mistakes as possible.

Position Description: The key functions of the Quality Test Engineer are to conduct mobile, web and API tests of software product(s), develop automated test scripts for web and API tests and document test cases, results. The goal of this role is to increase the quality of the products by reducing the number of bugs in the software and identifying as many mistakes as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans, Automation scripts, and manual test cases, including regression testing to verify the behaviour, functionality, and integrity of computer software.
- Documenting test results in defect reports and related documentation, ensuring adherence to established testing protocols, guidelines, and quality standards. Moreover, maintaining and updating comprehensive technical documentation related to testing procedures and outcomes.
- Assessing and pinpointing potential risks within the software to ensure mitigation and resolution. Conduct analysis to pinpoint anomalies and risks.
- Continuously updating and maintaining comprehensive Functional and Regression test case documentation to reflect system expansions and updates.
- Providing suggestions and taking an active part in contributing towards improvement of the software.
- Demonstrated experience in Mobile, Web and API software testing.
- Javascript test automation for API and Web
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent team player.
- Outstanding critical thinking skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail and solid analytical skills.
- Demonstrated experience in using tools such as Postman, mobile emulators.
- Willingness to learn new skills.
- Experience in using JIRA to view and update testing tickets/requirements.
- Experience using Figma
- Strong analytical skills to assist in documenting and solutioning technical requirements.
- Javascript test automation for mobile applications
- A bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field or demonstrable equivalent industry experience.
