About The Role
As a Service Person / Maintenance Technician, you will assist with general maintenance and repairs across the facility, supporting plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, and office services under the guidance of the Superintendent. You'll also play a key role in maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards while ensuring operational reliability.

About The Role
As a Service Person / Maintenance Technician, you will assist with general maintenance and repairs across the facility, supporting plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, and office services under the guidance of the Superintendent. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general building and facilities maintenance
- Support office operations (e.g., supply stocking, mail handling, equipment checks)
- Operate forklifts, hoists, trucks, and other material handling equipment
- Conduct basic electrical and plumbing work under supervision
- Oversee custodial and grounds maintenance services
- Complete cleaning and minor repairs (e.g., lighting, fixtures, doors, commodes)
- Maintain compliance with workplace safety procedures
- Assist in other maintenance areas as needed

Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Year 12 completion
- Minimum 2 years' relevant experience
- Experience using hand and power tools for building or facility maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Driver’s Licence
- Basic computer skills (MS Office)
- White Card
- Forklift Licence
- CPR / First Aid
- Working at Heights / Confined Space / EWP Ticket

This role requires the ability to hold and maintain one of the following:
- Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) – Australian Department of Defence clearance, or
- TS/SCI with Polygraph – U.S. Security Clearance
