What this opportunity involves:
The Leasing Executive will be responsible for achieving budgeted occupancy levels by attracting potential tenants, conducting property inspections and, in conjunction with the Operations Manager, approving suitable applications from potential residents. The leasing team is also responsible for conducting lease renewal negotiations with existing tenants to secure ongoing leases at target rents and occupancies.
A snapshot of the role:
A high degree of self-motivation, conflict resolution and organisation is required on a day-to-day basis. This position will be responsible to the Operations Manager for operating within specific leasing protocols.

A snapshot of the role:
- Review and prepare on-line advertising to maximise enquiries from target markets
- Maintain an on-site inspection schedule that optimises availability of apartment viewings
- Host property inspections that effectively inform and educate potential residents on the benefits of Smith Collective, Australia’s first large-scale Build To Rent development
- Review potential residents’ applications and efficiently process and approve successful applicants
- Liaise with on-site Property Managers and facilities maintenance to hand-over new residents seamlessly
- Maintain leasing reporting systems
- Conduct lease renewal negotiations with existing residents to secure new leases

- Sound computer skills in Microsoft Word/Excel/Property Management Software
- A background of excellent results in a client facing role
- Actively encourages an environment that supports teamwork, cooperation, performance excellence and personal success
- Demonstrates the ability to maintain and manage accurate data.
- Must hold a current Queensland Property Managers Certificate at all time
