As IT Manager at the Tasmania Football Club (TFC), you’ll play a key role in bringing our technology and systems infrastructure to life. You’ll get to help set the club’s tech foundation as well as lead an exciting range of future technology projects.

Your Role
We’re looking for a passionate technology leader – someone who doesn’t mind jumping in the deep end and getting their hands dirty across a wide range of technology and systems but can also step back and think strategically about the bigger picture. You’ll be building, supporting and exploring a wide range of technology solutions across all areas of the Club encompassing infrastructure, applications and devices. You’ll work on a diverse range of projects that enable the Club’s success and provide TFC staff with a reliable, secure and productive working environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Cybersecurity & Risk – Act is internal security lead, working with external partners on assessments and improvements.
• Network and Infrastructure – Own network and infrastructure architecture and strategy.
• Applications & Integration – Administer core business applications, architecture and integration.
• MSP & Vendor Management – Serve as internal lead for managing our MSP and vendors.
• End-User Compute – Oversee end-user device provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Documentation - Maintain policies, documentation and internal knowledge bases.
Skills and Experience
• 5+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or IT management.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, M365), networking, and cybersecurity.
• Experience working with MSPs or outsourced IT providers.
• Strong project management and vendor coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, Essential Eight).
• Experience in a fast-paced multi-functional environment.
