About the role

We are currently seeking Disability Support Workers who live in and around the Dubbo area to support a 70 year-old Female participant with a Spinal Cord Injury to remain living independently within her home.

Duties include but not limited to:

      • Medication administration
      • Use of mobility equipment
      • Domestic assistance
      • Special meal preparation and Community participation
      • Assistance with managing finances
      • Personal Care Tasks
      • Trache Care, Catheter Care and care of the airway tubes

You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can.

Job Type: Contractor

What you need:

    • Current references
    • Mobile phone
    • Current driver's license and your own car
    • NDIS workers screening check or willing to obtain (mandatory)
    • First Aid certificate or willing to obtain (mandatory)
    • Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing
    • Working with Children Check or willing to obtain (Paid (mandatory)

Days/Hours:

  • Thursday evenings - 1900-2000
  • Friday evenings - 1900-2000
