YOUR ROLE
We’re seeking an experienced and capable Transport Supervisor to join CEVA’s transport hub at Hazelmere, WA. The primary focus of the role will be to guarantee the safe, efficient, and timely distribution and receipt of all transport services to our customers.
You’ll manage day-to-day operations of the transport terminal and transport movements (day/evening and regional/intrastate/interstate despatch), with the support of a team of fleet controllers.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Specifically, you will:
Provide feedback on service levels to maintain constructive relationships between CEVA and transport contractors
Ensure transport services are provided in a safe and compliant manner, implementing efficient operational practices
Manage and oversee transport operations to achieve profitable results.
Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and delivering excellent service internally and externally with a focus on cost and quality
Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility legislation, Material Safety Data Sheets, and other relevant legislation/standards.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate has experience in transport supervision in a 3PL setting together with:
Demonstrated knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) principles and load restraint regulations
Experience working with a Transportation Management System (TMS)
Ability to comprehend and apply cost control measures to ensure efficient and cost-effective transport operations
Intermediate skills in using Microsoft Excel to manage and analyse data
Bonus: Knowledge or previous experience in warehousing operations.
In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
