Overview of the Team

The Governance, Assurance and Integrity team sits within the Corporate Group and is responsible for developing, maintaining and monitoring adherence to policies, frameworks and processes used for governance, risk, fraud and corruption control and assurance.

Overview of the Role

The Assistant Director Fraud and Corruption Control is responsible for the development and implementation of Comcare’s arrangements for managing Fraud and Corruption, to meet the requirements of section 10 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rule 2014 (Fraud and Corruption Rule).

Qualifications and Experience

  • Mandatory:
    • Diploma in Fraud Control or the ability to obtain within 12 months
  • Desirable:
    • Tertiary qualifications in governance, risk or assurance or a related field
    • Experience in the development and application of frameworks relevant to the role’s area of responsibility

Eligibility and Specific Conditions of Employment

  • Australian citizenship.
  • Character clearance (Australian Criminal History Check).
  • Employee Health Declaration.
  • Six months probationary period for new engagements.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
