Poste et missions
In this front office role, the candidate will work on deal structuring and execution, and will contribute to the wider strategy of expansion for the business line. You will be joining a global team and you will take responsibility for and gain exposure to a variety of different loan products (typical LBO, US Term Loan B, bridge to bond, project finance, corporate loans) and clients (Local and international PE/ Infra firms/investors, corporates, in various sectors).
The role requires curiosity, rigor and strong communication and collaborative working capabilities: as well as working with the Sydney team, you will be working closely with teams across HK, Singapore, New York, London and Paris.
Key tasks include assisting the team with the following:
- To pitch clients for financing ideas and to originate transactions, as well as to promote Natixis franchise locally
- Detailed credit risks analysis and credit committees preparation: business description, industry review, competitive positioning, SWOT analysis, etc.
- Construction & review of financial models and key ratios and concepts used therein
- Update data base, market screening to identify financing opportunities, contribute to our regular market updates and to marketing initiatives towards our clients
- Support the team in all internal processes (Internal credit process in line with the policies and requirements of Natixis, KYC, internal rating, funding, closing etc.)
- Contribute to the monitoring of the portfolio

Profil et compétences requises
Essential experience and skills:
̶ Desire to work in a dynamic and entrepreneurial organization, to challenge yourself in a different environment
̶ Curiosity towards financial analysis and willingness to learn more about a new market (ANZ)
̶ Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines with positive attitude
̶ Strong communication skills – both written and verbal – with ability to work with internal stakeholders across different cultures and time-zones
̶ Ability to learn quickly on the job, take initiatives and responsibility for assigned projects and tasks
̶ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and presentation software
Qualifications:
̶ Master Degree in finance, mathematics, economics or business (Bac +4-5)
̶ previous experience in LBO and/or M&A will be an advantage
