About the opportunity

Are you ready to take on an exciting new role as part of our Mercy Health Home Care Team? We are currently looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join us as a Staffing Support Officer.

The Staffing Support Officer is responsible for supporting Regional Managers in workforce planning and recruitment for both clinical and non-clinical staff across our homecare services. This role is integral in ensuring a strong, engaged, and readily available talent pool to meet operational needs.

A key aspect of this position is the effective use of a Talent Management System to build and maintain a community of skilled professionals, ensuring workforce sustainability and operational efficiency. The Staffing Support Officer will work proactively to streamline recruitment, improve workforce agility, and enhance retention strategies.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, Home Care, this role collaborates closely with the Operations Manager, Regional Managers, Talent Acquisition Business Partner, HR Recruitment Lead, Community Engagement Coordinator, and external recruitment partners to ensure a steady supply of skilled and compassionate workers.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in coordinating and managing workforce needs to meet service demands.
  • Experience in managing a talent pipeline to proactively address recruitment needs.
  • Proficiency in using Talent Management Systems (or HR tech) for candidate tracking and workforce planning



You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • NDIS Worker Screening check
  • Current drivers license
