We have an opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager to join the Funds Management and Capital Partnering Finance team at the Stockland Sydney Head Office.
The Opportunity - About the Role
Join Stockland at an exciting inflection period with the opportunity to make your mark in a growth area of the business. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, Investment Management Finance, you will deliver the financial aspects of Stockland’s funds management and capital partnering business including the implementation and operationalisation of new capital partnerships and deliver ongoing financial reporting requirements. You will play a key role in building out the business, leaning into change, and helping to embed new ways of thinking and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with Funds Management, Group Finance and the wider business (including Treasury, Tax, Legal, and Information Technology) to implement and embed new capital partnering opportunities, with a focus on process improvement. You will use your ability to think critically and challenge the status quo to foster innovation and drive superior outcomes. Your ability to build strong relationships will be essential in achieving these goals.
About You
You will require tertiary qualifications and CA/CPA accreditation, along with extensive experience in funds management, financial and property accounting. Other key requirements include:
- Strong technical accounting skills and a proven ability to deliver high-quality processes and reporting.
- Leadership experience, including managing a small team, is essential.
- Passion and motivation to drive change, innovate, and improve processes
- Excellent influencing and relationship-building skills.
