The Role
As the HSEQ Systems Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic oversight and continuous improvement of HSEQ systems, processes, and culture. You will work closely with project teams, site managers, and company leadership to ensure safety is a top priority — from tender through to project delivery.

As the HSEQ Systems Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic oversight and continuous improvement of HSEQ systems, processes, and culture. You will work closely with project teams, site managers, and company leadership to ensure safety is a top priority — from tender through to project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s HSEQ Management System
- Conduct internal audits and prepare for external accreditations
- Drive compliance with HSEQ legislation, codes of practice, and company policies
- Develop and update SWMS, procedures, policies, and toolbox talks
- Investigate incidents and hazards, manage corrective actions, and ensure proper reporting
- Support training and onboarding of staff and subcontractors on all safety-related matters
- Monitor and lead digital safety platforms (e.g., HammerTech)
- Promote and lead a positive safety culture across all levels of the business
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a safety leadership or systems-based HSEQ role within construction
- Strong knowledge of HSEQ legislation, codes, and ISO/OHS management systems
- Demonstrated experience with digital safety platforms and reporting tools
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Cert IV or Diploma in HSEQ
- Up to $180k package
