About the opportunity



Werribee Mercy Hospital Rapid Access Hub is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Endoscopy nurses with experience in Interventional Endoscopy, PACU, Anaesthetic nursing and DOSA.

As a public hospital servicing the community of the West, we have an exciting growth strategy, which will lay the foundation for the future and provide opportunity for professional development and career progression.



Our Rapid Access Hub started operating on 6th March 2023 to cater for the backlog of patients waiting for planned endoscopy due to COVID-19. The Rapid Access Hub consists of two endoscopy suites/theatres with 11 PACU bays and admission and discharge areas. Works are currently underway to open a further two theatres with the plan to commence minor day procedure cases in the future.



About you



If you are a Registered Nurse currently working in endoscopy or the perioperative setting with experience in Endoscopy, Anaesthetics, PACU and DOSA (Admissions and Discharge) then RAH may be the place for you!



Your skills and experience must include:



  • Bachelor of Nursing currently registered with AHPRA



  • Previous experience working in Endoscopy, Interventional Endoscopy and/or the Perioperative environment



  • Demonstrated ability to work within an interdisciplinary team



  • Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise workloads within a dynamic environment



  • Ability to commit to a range of shifts Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am and 8pm
