RPS is seeking a Business Support Officer (Project Controls) on a permanent full-time basis to join our Advisory team based in Melbourne or Sydney. Reporting to the Business Support Team Leader (Project Controls), you will be responsible for providing high level business support, including project setup, administration, invoicing and controls; and tracking and reporting of projects nationally.
Further the position will support the on-going development and implementation of standardised and enhanced business processes to aid the effective and efficient operation of the Advisory Division, and the position will provide general business support on an ad-hoc basis to help manage peaks in workloads as and when required.

Key Responsibilities
- Support project managers to effectively and efficiently administer and control projects through establishment, delivery, and close-out.
- Facilitates the timely preparation, approval and issuing of invoices, reports, claims and other submissions.
- Liaises with RPS Finance team to support proper and timely management of projects.
- Supports monthly project performance reviews, analysis, and reconciliations.
- Contributes to the development, implementation and operation of new systems and processes to aid the effective and efficient operation of the division.
- Undertakes other duties as directed.
Qualifications Required
- Minimum five years' experience in a similar project support role within a corporate environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare high quality presentation, reports and submissions.
- Experience in supporting teams in the setup, tracking, reporting, invoicing and forecasting of projects.
- Intermediate commercial skills with supplier, invoice and contract management.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, data base and financial management systems.
- Strong client focused approach.
- Experience with Oracle will be highly regarded.
