About the Role
We're seeking expressions of interest for a passionate Internal Communication Specialist to join our Corporate Communications team, based in Sydney.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, where you'll be responsible for developing and executing our internal communication strategy that engages employees and aligns with our business objectives. This includes managing internal channels, supporting leadership communications, delivering employee campaigns and events, and creating high-impact content. Periodically, you'll also contribute to external communications, such as social media and content development, as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and support a strategic internal communication plan aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organisation to ensure effective communication and alignment.
- Create engaging content across internal platforms/products, and social media (e.g. intranet, email newsletters/digests, Teams Town Halls, Viva Engage).
- Project manage and deliver employee events, in-person, hybrid, and virtual.
- Develop and execute digital communication strategies for employee campaigns, intranets, enewsletters, and video development.
- Manage and deliver impactful change communication campaigns.
- Support crisis communication planning and execution.
- Track and measure the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives.
Requirements and Experience
Reporting into the Head of Corporate Communication, we're looking for someone with:
- 4+ years of experience in a similar internal communications role.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong digital communication skills, including intranets, and Microsoft platforms.
- Experience in designing and developing engaging content, including skills in graphic design and video development.
- A positive attitude, resourcefulness, and ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team.
- A bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or Marketing.
