The Organisation

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic & motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join their team immediately, on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Role & Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager and working within a close knit team, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties;

  • Matching invoices with purchase orders
  • High volume invoice processing
  • Ensuring timely payments are made of supplier invoices via weekly and monthly payment runs
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Handling accounts payable queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Setting up new suppliers
  • Assisting with the reconciliations
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ad hoc duties to assist the broader finance team

Ideal Candidate

The Successful Applicant Will Have The Following Attributes

  • Proven experience in a similar Accounts Payable role
  • Personable nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • High level time management skills & the ability to meet deadlines
  • Prior experience using SAP or a similar large ERP system is highly advantageous
