Make a difference as a TEMP Property Claims Consultant

YOUR ROLE

As a Temporary Claims Consultant, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, providing vital support to customers during significant life events. Your role will involve delivering exceptional customer service through a variety of tasks, including liaising with key stakeholders, managing and directing customer calls, lodging property claims, and interpreting insurance policies to ensure clear and accurate communication.

Located in Meanjin (Brisbane), this office-based role requires you to work Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Full availability during these hours is essential.

Your journey with IAG will begin Monday 28th July with a comprehensive on-the-job training program (up to 2 weeks).

ABOUT YOU

You’ll possess a high level of communication, displaying empathy and resilience

• Previous customer service experience (contact centres, sales, hospitality, retail or volunteer work)

• Tech-savvy and confident using multiple systems and platforms simultaneously

• Expertise to effectively manage challenging customer conversations

• Ability to solve problems empathetically and equitably

• Well-developed rapport building, active listening, and communication skills

• Emotionally intelligent and adaptable
