As a Fixed Plant Mechanical Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for fixed plant equipment within our organisation. Your primary duties will include conducting inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, developing maintenance strategies, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve equipment reliability and performance, as well as participate in project planning and execution.

As a Fixed Plant Mechanical Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for fixed plant equipment within our organisation. Your primary duties will include conducting inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, developing maintenance strategies, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve equipment reliability and performance, as well as participate in project planning and execution.
Ideal candidate must have the following expereiences;
- Commissioning/ start up of Gold processing plant
- Control room
- SAG MILL
- Floatation thickening
- Filter operations
- Training and mentoring local team
- Trade qualification in Mechanical/ Boilermaker or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in gold processing commissioning
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Experience with maintenance planning and scheduling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Willingness to travel as needed
