Draftsperson - Residential Construction | ArchiCAD

About the Role:

Due to continued growth and project demand, we are looking for a Draftsperson with strong ArchiCAD proficiency and a solid understanding of residential construction. You'll be part of a high-performing Drafting team, responsible for producing accurate documentation, coordinating with consultants, and offering design and efficiency suggestions to support better project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete all allocated drafting tasks within agreed deadlines, proactively resolving drafting matters with your manager.
  • Commission reports and technical information with external consultants and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending innovative building methods or materials for cost or quality advantages.
  • Liaise with the team to ensure designs meet compliance, functionality, and aesthetic standards.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Advanced ArchiCAD skills with demonstrated experience in residential drafting.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the residential housing and construction industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in preparing construction documentation.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Drafting and/or Design highly regarded.
  • Proven ability to work independently and within a team to meet deadlines and resolve technical issues.
