What You Will Own
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers to deliver scalable and secure technology solutions.
- Drive technical strategy and architecture decisions for our digital platform and internal tools.
- Oversee the development and deployment of software systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, medical, and operations, to align engineering goals with business objectives.
- Implement best practices in software development, security, and regulatory compliance within the medicinal cannabis space.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize applications for efficiency.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong expertise in software development, with proficiency in Typescript, React, Node js, and AWS.
- Strong knowledge of data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements, preferably in healthcare, fintech, or similarly regulated industries.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, with a passion for mentoring and team development.
