More About Your New Role


We’re on the lookout for a data-savvy problem solver who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and help us make smarter decisions across the business. This newly created Data Analyst role located at Iplex Strathpine (Brisbane) or Reservoir (Melbourne) is all about supporting digital initiatives, managing datasets across various business systems and processes, and providing our teams with meaningful data insights. You’ll be hands-on with everything from data collection, data hygiene governance and reporting, through to testing and end-user support, helping us drive efficiency and innovation through better use of our digital tools.


You’ll thrive here if you enjoy variety, love digging into data, and can confidently support others in using systems and interpreting results. You will be familiar with working and presenting across different functions in the business and working large data sets will be familiar to you. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a collaborative environment where your curiosity and initiative will be valued ideally you will have exposure to the manufacturing or industrial sectors but not essential.


Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in data analysis or business intelligence
  • Strong grasp of data management and hygiene practices, and work with colleagues to keep our data pristine.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Power Query, Microsoft Access and other Microsoft tools
  • Experience with business reporting tools like Tableau, Qlik Sense or Power BI
  • Ability to document business requirements and translate into technical solutions
  • Strong communication skills to engage, consult and support stakeholders across different functions
  • Confidence in testing system changes and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Personable and energetic, an expert in stakeholder management
  • Experience working in a fast-paced high-volume environment
  • Ability to present to information to various teams and groups
