About the Role (2-year fixed term contract)
We are looking for a talented Portfolio Publisher (Primary & Secondary Education): New Zealand to join our Publishing Team. The Portfolio Publisher will own the current and future product portfolio for New Zealand, and will liaise closely with Australian product teams to understand the opportunity for adaptation/versioning as well as new product development. They will access and manage a pool of education experts and consultants in New Zealand to support appropriately local (New Zealand) product development.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support the business with strategic portfolio management, planning, development and execution for the New Zealand market.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the New Zealand Primary and Secondary portfolios.
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders that support the creation and promotion of key products and services for New Zealand.
• Work cooperatively with Product and Data colleagues to ensure publishing administration is efficiently managed.

About You
Essential:
• Degree/postgraduate qualification in Primary and/or Secondary Education or equivalent educational publishing industry experience
• Proven experience in learning design with emphasis on digital learning solutions that address customer needs and improve teaching and learning outcomes
• Knowledge of the New Zealand education market, including understanding of the use of digital technologies to enhance product design and improve learning experiences and outcomes
• High proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong project management skills and budget management skills

Desirable:
• Qualification in Publishing and Editing and/or Learning Design
