As part of our expanding global team, we’re looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor who wants to grow their career while supporting high-impact community projects across NSW.

This is an ideal role for someone who’s confident with measurement, detail-focused, and excited to work with a professional, highly collaborative estimating team that values quality, clarity, positivity and consistency.

You’ll be joining our high-performing, hybrid team that includes local Estimators and Quantity Surveyors across Sydney. You’ll play a key role in take-offs, BOQs and cost analysis for a diverse mix of projects, from large open space parks, Public Domain and urban playgrounds to civil works and sports field infrastructure.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll support our Senior Surveyors, Estimators and Commercial teams by delivering accurate and timely quantity take-offs and assisting with cost plans, tender prep and benchmarking. This is a technical role with exposure to real projects that shape real communities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications (civil, landscape, structures)
• Assisting in the development of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and project cost summaries
• Contributing to benchmarking and internal pricing databases
• Collaborating with local estimators to align on formats, systems and project timelines
• Working within Australian standards and formats under guidance
• Participating in ongoing reviews to improve accuracy and efficiency
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• 1–2 years of professional experience in Quantity Surveying, Estimating or Construction Cost Planning
• Relevant degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications
• Experience using 2D and 3D software (we have a variety of tools & training available)
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical working style
• Ability to follow direction, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly over collaborative platforms like Teams
• Willingness to learn Australian project formats and construction terms
