We Bring the + to Every Bid. Ready to Add Yours?

At Solutions+, we deliver some of Australia’s most complex and creative open space, civil, and infrastructure projects and we know that great delivery starts with great cost control.

We’re looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team. This role is ideal for someone who brings strong technical skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the confidence to lead from behind the scenes.

You’ll be working closely with our Estimators, Senior Estimators and pre-contract Strategy Team, to support high-value tenders. You’ll also help mentor junior QS staff and maintain consistency across our measurement, BOQs, benchmarking and commercial reporting.

This is more than a support role. It’s a key part of our delivery strategy and plan for growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a senior QS, you’ll help manage project costs across both the tender and delivery phases. Your role will involve measurement, planning, cost strategy and regular communication with key people in Australia. You’ll bring structure and accuracy to every estimate—and confidence to every commercial handover.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading quantity take-offs and BOQ development for complex projects
  • Reviewing, refining and verifying work produced by junior QS team members
  • Coordinating with the local Estimating team to align on pricing logic and scope clarity
  • Supporting the creation of project-specific pricing templates and cost plans
  • Working within Australian codes, formats and construction practices
  • Assisting in project cost reviews, forecasts and variation breakdowns
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify risks and value opportunities

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years’ experience in Quantity Surveying or Estimating, preferably with exposure to Australian or NZ projects
  • Qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Expert-level proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documentation
  • Strong skills in collaborative take-off software. We use Togal AI, Bluebeam, Agtek and more, but we can teach the software if you have the skills
  • High attention to detail, accuracy and documentation
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, leadership mindset
  • Ability to coach and support junior staff while managing your own deadlines
  • Confidence working across multiple service lines and packages

WHAT We’ll briing

Solutions+ is one of Australia’s most respected delivery partners in community infrastructure. From award-winning public parks to complex civil and sporting precincts, we price and build projects that genuinely shape how people live, play and connect.

When you join our senior offshore team, you’ll get:

  • Daily collaboration with our Sydney-based Estimators and Commercial team
  • The opportunity to shape standards, train juniors, and lead by example
  • Structured workflows and clear Australian formats for every task
  • Access to major project scopes across civil, landscape and urban infrastructure
  • A stable, long-term career opportunity with meaningful project exposure
  • A people-first culture that values trust, quality and accountability
