Who Are We
We empower students and their studies by providing an ecosystem of highly effective tutoring, resources and support. We run weekly small-group tutoring sessions at our in-person campuses, presented by young and experienced tutors that teach in a simple, intuitive and engaging way. We also supplement these sessions with weekly workshops, complimentary 1-on-1 support and a learning portal with a comprehensive suite of resources and practice material to help students master their subjects.
Over 8,000 students and 250+ team members have joined Contour Education since our founding in the beginning of 2020. What You'll Do
Full-Stack Web Development (React, Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL)
Experience with Supabase, PayloadCMS or similar headless CMS platforms
Building and integrating LMS, CMS, CRM, and backend services
Familiarity with CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, Vercel, etc.)
Async-First Collaboration & Clean Documentation Practices
Developing user-facing features (not just internal tools)
Exposure to infrastructure, edge functions, and microservices
Strong product thinking and ownership mindset

What You'll Do
- Build and ship features across our LMS and CMS products, real user-facing features, not just internal tools.
- Work across the stack to build deep expertise in one area and broad fluency across the rest.
- Build shared UI libraries, Supabase edge functions, microservices, and connector logic with PayloadCMS and Cloudflare.
- Help us stitch together services across the stack. E.g. wiring our CRM into our education platform.
- Contribute to a clean repos using InnerSource principles (clear docs, async-first collaboration, modular design)
- Work in an environment where we’re building clear docs, async-first collaboration, modular design.
- Pair with our Lead Engineer for daily execution, fast reviews, and high-trust autonomy.
- Leave things better than you found them one pull request at a time.
Full-Stack Web Development (React, Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL)

Academic Requirements
- 1.5+ years of experience building and shipping web apps (Freelance, side projects, or professional roles all count)
- Comfortable working across domains (frontend, backend, infrastructure)
- Experience integrating tools and services across the stack
- Strong written communication skills for PRs, docs, and async work
