The opportunity
This newly created role offers the chance to shape the future of people technology and analytics at CSIRO. As we modernise how people services are delivered, you will play a pivotal role in connecting digital solutions to real-world business outcomes
Your high-level duties will include:
  • Oversee people analytics strategy, dashboards and reporting to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a scalable CSIRO’s People Technology Roadmap.
  • Partner with IT and vendors to ensure seamless, secure, and effective systems integration.
  • Drive automation, optimisation, and enhancement of HR technology platforms.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team delivering insights and system solutions.
  • Prioritise development of sustainable self-service data solutions and uplift data literacy within the People function

Role particulars
Location and office arrangements:
  • Locations: Melbourne preferred. Brisbane, Canberra and Hobart considered.
  • Hybrid working available and Flexible options can be discussed.
Salary: AU$ 131,113 to AU$153,639 pa (pro-rata for part-time) + up to 15.4% superannuation
Tenure & work schedule: Indefinite, full time (Options for part-time, job-share and flexible work arrangements can be discussed based on needs of role and individual circumstances)

As the successful candidate, you will bring:
  • Extensive experience with SAP and SuccessFactors in HR or business support contexts.
  • Strong technical expertise across HR analytics tools and data governance frameworks.
  • A proven track record in leading system upgrades, implementations and process automation.
  • Experience managing a team and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to distil technical detail for executive audiences.
