About the opportunity



Exciting opportunity to join the friendly and supportive Physiotherapy team at Werribee Mercy Hospital, an expanding health service, which is committed to ensuring high quality, evidence-based, person-centred patient care. This position will be an integral part of the team in providing contemporary care to patients in the designated clinical areas

  • Full-time, Grade 2 (or 1) fixed contract role commencing 28/7/25 to 23/12/25 with possibility of extension
  • Role works across acute outpatients and also inpatients which may include, general medicine, ICU, palliative care, ortho/surgical, Short Stay Unit and participation in weekend rosters
  • Member of inter-professional teams providing quality, evidence based, person-centred, physiotherapy clinical care in a designated caseload
  • Friendly and supportive physiotherapy team with a strong learning culture, team support and a robust supervision framework

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Recognised Degree in Physiotherapy and hold full, unlimited and current AHPRA physiotherapy registration
  • Current Victorian (or equivalent) Drivers Licence
  • Broad clinical physiotherapy experience in an acute hospital setting across both outpatients and inpatients (minimum 2 years' experience highly desirable)
  • Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
  • Enthusiastic, flexible, dedicated, team-oriented, adaptable and friendly with a positive approach to effective patient care and management.
  • The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.



You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Current, unlimited AHPRA Physiotherapy Registration
  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
