About The Role
As the Behaviour Support Team Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping service delivery and guiding a small team of Behaviour Support Practitioners. You'll oversee quality, ensure compliance, drive clinical outcomes, and support your team's growth - all while still maintaining your own client load.
This is a dual role for someone who thrives on coaching others, collaborating with stakeholders, and raising the bar on behaviour support.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and developing a team of 3-5 clinicians
- Conducting quality reviews and audits of support plans and reports
- Supporting staff through supervision, performance reviews and ongoing training
- Managing KPIs (your own and your team's)
- Collaborating with families, support workers and allied health professionals
- Ensuring services align with NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission standards
- Driving ethical, person-centred outcomes through evidence-based practice
- NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner registration (PROFICIENT or above)
- Proven experience working with clients with complex behavioural needs
- Strong leadership, mentoring and team development skills
- High-quality report writing and assessment capabilities
- Confidence managing clinical operations and performance metrics
- Full driver's licence + access to a vehicle
- WWCC, Police Check, and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain)
- Allied Health qualifications (Psych, OT, Social Work etc.)
- AHPRA registration and industry body registration
- Prior experience managing clinicians across multiple locations
