Job Description
Reporting to the Executive General Manager Continuing Care and Support Services, this leadership role has the overall operational accountability for the delivery of allied health services across the Continuing Care and Support Services Division. The role will be central to developing and implementing a vision to ensure the ongoing development of allied health practice together with continuing delivery of safe, effective and efficient patient-centered care.
Your strong leadership capabilities will allow you to develop productive relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, whilst fostering a supportive and effective interdisciplinary team environment across the services within allied health. Working collaboratively with Epworth Healthcare operations, you will ensure there is consistency in workforce procedures, policies and systems to reduce duplication and optimise efficiencies. Through promoting ongoing research into allied health, delivering in-demand, leading edge programs to patients by committed, engaged professionals, Epworth Healthcare will lead the field in allied health excellence.
To be successful in this role
You are an experienced and accomplished leader within a multi-disciplinary model of service delivery that has focused on sustainable models of care and the development of new patient pathways. Your strong interpersonal skills enable you to influence others, build relationships, and earn the trust and respect of your team, colleagues, and the clinical workforce. You bring adaptability and a focus for continuous improvement. Whilst an understanding of the private health sector is not essential, you bring a professional work ethic with a focus on patient centred care at the forefront.

- AHPRA Registration or eligibility for membership of professional association in a clinical discipline
- Working with Children check
- Police check
- Postgraduate in health management or business
