EventsAir is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and execution-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our Executive Leadership Team. This is a pivotal opportunity to lead our financial function, drive meaningful value, and help prepare the business for a successful exit within 3–5 years.
You’ll be a key partner to our CEO and Board, helping steer company strategy, scale our operations, and lead transformative M&A initiatives. This role is ideal for a CFO who thrives in a high-accountability, private equity-backed environment and understands what it takes to grow and optimize a SaaS business for strategic value creation.
What You'll Do
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Execute the Private Equity (PE) firm’s value creation plan and align financial strategy with operational execution.
- Accelerate profitable growth, drive EBITDA expansion, and optimize cash flow.
- Own strategic forecasting, scenario modelling, and long-range planning.
- Work alongside Riverside on M&A from deal assessment through financial integration.
- Manage capital structure, treasury, and risk to support growth ambitions.
- Partner cross-functionally to enhance pricing, customer lifetime value (LTV), customer acquisition costs (CAC), and overall SaaS unit economics.
Financial Operations & Reporting
- Deliver high-quality, detailed financial reporting and insights to Private Equity sponsors and the Board.
- Define and monitor key SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, net retention, LTV, CAC, payback period, gross churn, sales efficiency etc.).
- Strengthen controls, compliance, and process rigor.
- Lead system upgrades and automation to scale the finance function efficiently.
Leadership & Team Development
- Be a strategic advisor to the CEO and a true business partner across functions.
- Lead and develop a high-performance finance and accounting team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and results.

What you Bring
- 10+ years in progressive financial leadership, including 3–5 years as CFO in a high-growth SaaS business.
- Proven track record in private equity-backed environments, including value creation and successful exit planning.
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, revenue recognition, and commercial finance.
- Expertise in M&A due diligence, integration, and financial modelling.
- Strong leadership and communication skills – you can influence across executive teams and PE partners.
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA, CPA or CFA advantageous.
