As the People Advisor you will serve as a key support for Endeavour Group by providing timely and effective responses to a wide range of employee-related enquiries and requests; coaching and guiding leaders as well as hands on management of cases.

Responsible for leading the case management of employee relations matters, including, advising and responding to complaints and grievances, advising on Policy, modern award and other employee framework material, and supporting the business to effectively manage performance issues.

Here’s a Snapshot Of The People Advisor Responsibilities

  • Effective end to end case management, including high quality case notes, drafting of formal documents and provision of appropriate, professional advice in line with Policy, process and best practice
  • Proficient management of Tier 1(a) and some Tier 1(b) matters
  • Management of some Tier 1(b) casework, including low to medium serious misconduct matters
  • Respond in a timely manner to support requests from all part of the business
  • Coach and provide leaders with expert advice regarding performance management and conduct issues
  • Providing accurate and timely advice in relation to Policy, modern Awards and Enterprise Agreement interpretation
  • Opportunity to work with the Employee Relations Advisors and Employee Relations team on Tier 2 cases
  • Other Advisory work as directed by Team Services leadership from time to time.

What do we need from you

  • You pride yourself on your time management skills and attention to detail.
  • You're a team player - your actions and behaviours reflect the culture and values of the team.
  • Evidenced knowledge, qualifications or experience in human resources, law or employee relations work.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and provide advice on industrial instruments.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple cases at any given time.
  • Experience within a fast paced/large complex organisation is desirable.
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills with the ability to deal with different and ad hoc requests.
  • Understanding of or previous experience in retail operations is desirable.
  • You’ll have strong communication skills, high accuracy and operate with confidentiality.
