Your role
As a Senior Civil Engineer in our Land Infrastructure Team (Mackay), you'll guide purposeful work that supports the future of the land infrastructure sector. Collaborating with a diverse, multidisciplinary team, you’ll explore integrated solutions, offer thoughtful perspectives, and partner with clients to help them build a more sustainable world.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Technical Leader – whilst the role can be tailored to your strengths, this role is for an engineer that can take a lead role on civil design infrastructure projects, maintaining involvement from the bid stage through to design and ultimate successful project delivery.
- Supporting development – work with a team of civil engineers, designers and drafters to contribute to the design and construction of civil infrastructure across a broad range of private and government projects.
- Client facing – be supported into a client leader role where you will be encouraged to both grow your network and deliver innovative solutions to best fit a client’s needs.
- Personal growth – grow your technical skills and leadership abilities within the team with guidance from the large Aurecon support network.
- Collaborating across disciplines – work closely with a range of engineers across Aurecon to explore creative and efficient solutions to project needs.
- Providing insights with care – share well-informed guidance that supports confident, inclusive decision-making within the Land Infrastructure team.
You blend technical knowledge with empathy and big-picture thinking. You're someone who thrives in dynamic environments, builds meaningful connections, and is motivated by purposeful work. You’ll also have:
- A relevant engineering degree, be RPEQ accredited (or working towards) and at least 5 years’ post-graduate experience in Civil Engineering
- A strong ability to shape thoughtful, effective solutions in energy or infrastructure
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a wide range of people
- A willingness to question the status quo and offer new perspectives
