As an Inside Sales Specialist at Danfoss, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by proactively engaging with customers, identifying their needs, and offering tailored solutions. You will collaborate with frontline sales, marketing, and customer service teams to generate leads, nurture relationships, and close sales—leveraging digital tools and data-driven insights to enhance customer experience and efficiency.
Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following.
- Drive Strategic Growth Develop and execute sales plans, prioritizing highpotential customer segments for sustainable longterm growth.
- Expand & Target Customers Analyze data to focus on the most valuable accounts, optimizing conversion and market penetration.
- Optimize Pipeline & Performance Manage the sales pipeline, refine processes, and leverage insights to improve forecasting and team efficiency.
- Develop strong relationships with customers by providing proactive sales support.
- Understand customer needs and recommend Danfoss solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Provide feedback to product teams to ensure continuous improvement of solutions.
- Utilize CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, or equivalent) to track sales activities and manage customer interactions.
- Leverage data analytics to identify sales trends and optimize the sales approach.
- Coordinate among multiple departments within respective region.
- Work closely with Field Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Facilitate crossfunctional meetings on local activity and campaign effectiveness.
- Prepare regular reports on key metrics for internal stakeholders.
- Monitor performance against targets to identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Provide market insights on competitor activity to support strategic decisions.
The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering or related field
- Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in Inside Sales, Customer Service or a similar role
- Proven inside sales experience is preferred but not mandatory. Value transferable skills and a willingness to learn
- Strong listening and negotiation skills with a consultative approach
- Ability to understand data and explain Danfoss solutions aligned with business goals
- Proficient with CRM software (Salesforce, SAP etc.) and digital sales tools
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationshipbuilding skills
- Experience working within crossfunctional teams
