Redpath Australia currently has an opportunity for a Heavy Diesel fitter to join a variety of our West Australian projects!
The Redpath Group is a leading mining contractor with almost 10,000 employees on projects across the globe. We specialise in shaft sinking, mine development, contract mining, raiseboring, underground construction, engineering & technical services, and specialty services in the mining and construction sectors.
With the recent acquisition of RUC Mining, we now operate the largest fleet of Raisedrill & Raisebore machines in Australia. Integrating RUC Mining's expertise with Redpath’s established reputation allows us to offer an expanded range of services and enhanced capabilities to our clients. This integration is not just about growth; it's also about creating more opportunities for all of our team members.
As our business continues to grow, we are seeking talented candidates to be involved in the integration and streamlining of our operations to continue Redpath's development and ability to continue to deliver exceptional value to our clients and partners.
Your duties will be varied and involve:
Undertaking scheduled and preventative maintenance, repairs, and fitting parts
Attending breakdowns, fault finding and diagnostic work, and providing technical support
Working within safety guidelines, policies, and procedures
Roster on Offer: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off , rotating day and night OR 2 weeks on, 1 week off.
FIFO: Perth Airport
DIDO: Esperance, Kalgoorlie, Kambalda and surrounds.
Your Value
The ideal candidate will come from an underground heavy vehicle background, develop or continue your career in underground mining.
Heavy vehicle/diesel fitting trade qualification (required)
Minimum of 2 years underground mining maintenance experience (required)
Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence
Able to contribute and work well within a supportive and dynamic crew culture
Experience working on Sandvik gear. Particularly Jumbo's, Loader's, Trucks and more. (required)
Australian recognised Heavy Diesel Trade Certificate or equivalent international qualification with Australian recognition
