Maintenance Electrician

About the Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, we are looking for a seasoned Maintenace Electrician for the Afternoon Shift. You will be responsible for providing electrical support, preventative and breakdown maintenance across 2 main sites Jalna Dairy Foods and Jalplas to ensure equipment reliability through effective troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide electrical support to site and effectively troubleshoot electrical faults
• Ensure all work meets electrical engineering standards
• All work to be completed in line with food safety requirements
• Support Production, Warehouse, Quality, Maintenance and Administrative teams for all electrical related works
• Investigate failures and provide recommendation of improvements to reduce the risk of occurrence
• Work unsupervised on shift and make decisions in order to promote efficiency
• Investigate failures and provide recommendation of improvements to reduce risk of reoccurrence
• Support project works as required
• Assist with inducting new staff as required
• Perform all tasks and duties as reasonably requested by your manager
• Complete all documentation to meet compliance and operational standards

About you:

• Trade certificate as an Electrician in the FMCG industry (Dairy industry preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years in a similar role
• Good understanding of LOTO, JSA
• Knowledge of PLC programming and CMMS (SAP)
• Experience troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Knowledge of GMP within the FMCG field
• Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office desirable
