Scalable to billions of transactions and flexible to manage various unique data sources, NTS holistically examines scenarios across multiple venues and asset classes We are currently seeking a Software Operations Specialist to join a dedicated project team to deliver a new industry leading surveillance product. This fast paced and time critical project requires previous experience in capital markets, preferably in trading, clearing or surveillance functions You can expect an autonomous but fast-paced work environment where you are recognized for your results and ability to drive things forward.   • Performing monitoring of systems for software errors, failures, and capacity issues; troubleshooting, diagnosing and bringing up to senior associates
  • Troubleshooting private data and market data connectivity issues of increasing complexity with clients, exchanges and market centers
  • Using expertise and knowledge to implement and deliver releases to our clients
  • Engaging with both internal teams and our customers on a day-to-day basis
  • Working closely with business analysts and other members of the team to analyze and design efficient solutions to fix reported issues
  • Managing Stock Exchange feeds and projects to integrate or upgrade new and existing trading systems and handling change requests
What We Expect
  • At least 4 years of commercial experience in trading technology industry with 2 years experience in supporting financial trading data (pre trade, post trade) or financial trading protocols (e.g. FIX, OMnet, ITCH, OUCH)
  • Reasonably in-depth functional and/or industry knowledge – Brokerage / Security Finance – required
  • Experience in application component implementation is required
  • Commercial experience using Linux including a good knowledge of scripting
  • Proficiency in using Git for version control
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management, with ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in incident management, understanding of ticket workflows and use of escalation
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks from issue analysis, solution design to release deployment
  • Strong time management and organisational skills to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously
  • Experience of working in a globally distributed team

  • Fixed income/OTC market knowledge
  • Experience working with multiple asset classes (equity, commodities, fixed income)
  • Experience in working with high transaction volumes
