This is an exciting opportunity for a bookkeeper to join our tax division. PKF Tax is all about forming authentic relationships with clients to offer tailored tax solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Reconcile bank payments and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Manage accounts receivable.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely monthly billing of customers in compliance with company policies.
  • Receiving customer data and being able organise, summarise and produce accurate bills from this data.
  • Producing accurate customer bills and issue them on time to ensure cashflow efficiency.
  • Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and proactively manage collection efforts.
  • Assist with month-end closing processes.
  • Communicate via email or phone with customers to ensure their liabilities are met or payments are correctly applied to their account.
  • Producing documentation and provide reports - be able to assist with providing documentation and reports during internal or external audits and assist in resolving any issues raised.
  • Be strongly able to produce support documentation from Xero and summarise these reports individually via Excel.

What you need to apply

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role and must be proficient with Software and Xero accounting software. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
