Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of six (6) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.

Position Profile: We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to appoint to the Coordinator of Dietetics position. In this role, the successful applicant will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality advanced dietetic services to a diverse and complex caseload. The successful applicant will provide a specialised level of dietetic advice to senior medical, nursing, and allied health staff working within the East Metropolitan Health Service regarding the management of patients, including both inpatient and outpatient settings. Other duties include managing staff within the relevant specialty/service areas, including planned/unplanned leave and performance development and management. This role also assists the Head of Department by undertaking operational and strategic management duties and clinical service planning and delivery for dietetic services.
